While the City of Howell promotes and encourages our residents to recycle, it is critical that you recycle properly. The green area HERE is south of Grand River and east of Michigan Ave, and also includes the east side of Michigan Ave, north of Grand River. The blue area shown HERE includes north of Grand River and west of Michigan Ave, as well as the north side of Grand River and the west side of Michigan Ave. Recycling is picked up every other week, depending on a resident’s location in the City, and is split into green and blue sections. Residents are encouraged to participate in the bi-weekly curbside recycling program.
